Jake Tapper of ABC has a story up w/ John McCain firing one of his fundraiser people b/c of the finance person's sympathy to Hezbollah.

I think what happened yesterday is a good thing for the party, and for Obama in particular.  It was his first real test of getting some serious negative campaigning, and I think eventually, it will make him into a stronger candidate.  

With the recent Washington Post http://www.washingtonpost.com/... article discussing the possibility of Senator Webb being a possible running mate, I believe that if Barack Obama wants to win the nomination, he must, and I repeat, he MUST come out and select Senator Webb (prior to the voting) if he wants to win the nomination.  The Post article talked a whole lot about Webb, but no mention of Barack.  Instead, it had a thinly veiled feeling that it would be Hillary.

Limbaugh, Hannity, Savage, and the rest of the brain-dead right-wing ilks tried to use such things as the Patriot Act and the Torture Bill to paint Democrats as weak on terrorism.  However, one courageous individual, Senator-elect Jon Tester, fought back tooth and nail.

Steny Hoyer and John Murtha are vying for the position of House Majority Leader.  The clear distinction between them is Murtha's unapologetic demand for troop withdrawal and Hoyer's reluctance to jump the Murtha bandwagon.  However, what most don't know, is how conservative Murtha really is.
